The Arts Factory hosts seven exciting markets in 2010 at Riddings Hall, Christchurch, the Grove, Ilkley, showcasing the work of local artists and artisans. There will be painters, photographers, silver smiths, textile artists, ceramic artists and jewellers displaying their art. There will also be a tea room at the venue serving home made cakes and scones. The Arts Factory has been managing exhibitions and promoting local artists since 1999 and has recently ventured into arts markets to support the local arts economy. artsmix* is an exciting and enterprising organisation promoting high quality arts projects and emerging artists
Artsmix* works closely with the business community and individuals developing arts based opportunities and initiatives across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area. The artsmix* market currently runs on the 1st Sunday of every month at the Loft Leeds, and on specific Sundays at Pudsey Marketplace. The market provides a platform for the great wealth of local artists and craft makers who produce a range of products from Fashion to Wood, Photography to Jewellery etc. Artsmix* also has a history of providing bespoke business support to artists. An exciting new development is an incubator shared managed workshop that is now open in the Sheepscar area of Leeds. The pay as you use workshop, includes equipment and facilities for wood working, jewellery making, and screen printing. Recycling, re-use and ethically sourced products is an under pinning value of artsmix* and last year our two Emerging Artist winners produced fantastic examples of recycled Art.

An independent art, craft and flea market with 15+ stalls offering a diverse range of products from independent designers and artists as well as private traders offering good quality second hand and vintage goods. You can find anything from beautiful handmade clothing and jewellery to rare vinyl, books and homewares, so its a great place to grab a bargain or pick up something a bit different and satisfy your individuality. Entrance is free to the public, there will be hot and cold drinks available from the bar.

Our June and Dec arts festival hosts an arts and crafts market with over 40 locally produced designer maker arts and crafts stalls set in the beautiful heritage setting of Burslem Town Centre.
